6.5 million dollars form the US Forest Service is being awarded to the City of Chattanooga, Green | Spaces, the Southeast Conservation Corps, & UT Chattanooga for urban tree planting and preservation and invasive species removal in Chattanooga's at-risk neighborhoods. GIS and remote sensing will play a central role with our lab working with Chattanooga's Urban Forest Team, Parks & Outdoors, and Chattanooga GIS.
